Breguet Watches

Founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham Louis Breguet, sometimes called the greatest watchmaker of all times, Breguet is known to have produced the Perpetuelle series, the first automatic watches in 1785. History records keep names like Napoleon, Queen Victoria and, later, Winston Churchill among the most famous Breguet watch owners.

Breguet’s name is linked to the first guilloche dials (1786), the invention of pare-choc (1806), the invention of the tourbillon (1801), the creation of the perpetual calendar and of the overcoil, which is still used today.

The exquisite design turns their pieces into precious collection items. The anniversary collections and one-of-a-kind Sympathique clocks come to enrich the splendid Breguet line which includes: Lady’s Reine de Naples white gold and diamond wristwatch, the 100 metres water-resistant Men’s Type XX Transatlantique fly-back chronograph watch, Men’s Classique Retrograde Seconds watch in a sapphire-crystal case and many more.

Breguet watches boast a client list unlike no other. These include Queen Marie-Antoinette, Napoleon Bonaparte, Talleyrand, the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Caroline Murat, Tsar Alexander I of Russia, Queen Victoria, Sir Winston Churchill and Arthur Rubinstein.

It can be safely assumed that Breguet watches offer unrivaled craftsmenship and style as standard.
